Dave Sayler forwarded this picture to Jesse Ybarra on a FC find of his.  Jesse told me that it reminded him of the first FC that his father used to own.  It looks like it's waiting safely in cold storage for another chance at life.  Looks like a real solid truck.  Here's a quote from the owner.

"This one-owner 1959 FC 150 was purchased by Delmar Conner from a dealer in Hutchinson, Kansas.  He traded in his '53 Ford Victoria college car after graduation and put the FC to work on the farm.  Early on, it was used to pull a fertilizer spreader in the fields and tandem 5000 lb wagons full of grain to market.  It evolved into a maintenance vehicle for machinery in the field, always loaded with tools an parts for remote repairs.  The truck has logged 32K miles in continuous service, only taking brief breaks for an engine rebuild and fresh paint."
