Another real nice surprise was seeing Gaylord’s 1957 Narrow-track FC-150 in attendance all the way down from Washington State.  Of course at the event it was parked right next to David’s ’59.  The restoration on Gaylord’s was also top notch!  If you were to check them both out you’d swear that they were both done by the same person.  Real quality and passion went into this truck all the way around!  And the cherry on top of Gaylord’s FC was the awesome custom built topper for the bed.  Genuine craftsmanship went into the making of this top.  It really looked like it could have been a Willys dealer installed option!  One other thing that Gaylord did to his truck was add a Buick V6 for that little extra “Go” when you push down on the accelerator a bit.  That’s something that I dream about for my own FC-150.  That’s one thing about these events, they really energize and inspire you on things you’re looking to do to your own vehicle.  This is one real nice truck!  Thanks Gaylord for sharing it with us!
