After going over the vehicle with an electronic bondo finder, the suspect areas were DA’d down to metal. Unfortunately the tin worms had been working here.
Good news, all four cab corners are perfect, no significant rust and not dented in, pretty nice original metal!
The doors came off fairly easy, the drivers took a little heat to convince the bolts to give way, and all came out nicely.
The header looks pretty good, rust is limited to under weatherstrip of windshield, but most of the lip is intact and can be easily fixed.
Passenger side doors with window frames removed.
The door hinges are blasted and primed and will all get rebuilt with new pins. Most all the original bolts are salvageable – that never seems to happen?
