Here's Jesse's 1962 FC-170 flatbed Diesel project truck, that has installed the V8 Detroit Diesel 6.2L, Allison 545
4 speed Automatic and it is 4x4, it is all on a 1997 Chevrolet 3500HD 1 ton extended wheel base chassis. The diesel is not a conversion to this frame,
it is what came in it. This vehicle has large real truck long and heavy duty rear springs, in front it has the independent torsion bar sprung 4x4 front end that
allows it to have good ground clearance or it can be able as I have it in a lower position, it is fully adjustable and it can be made to be higher or lower by
adjusting the torsion bars. than the solid axle older trucks.
