Mark sent me a picture of his latest acquisition. He's started to bring the old gal back to life and promises to keep us updated as he goes. Here's what he has done so far.
"Just finished with the electric system check, plugs,
wires, points, rotor, cap, Pulled the shattered windshield, I am cleaning up the
flange, new steering wheel, installed the replacement matching speedo, water
pump and assorted hoses, ordered my brake parts and will be jacking the beast up
to start that ordeal shortly. I suspect a master cylinder is in order, we shall
see.
I am still missing a dashboard and skirt, I have had a couple of hot leads but
no one seems to be willing or able to put their spare in the mail. I bid on one
on Ebay, it went for over 200 beans, without the skirt. I should have spent the
cash. At the time, I did not know if they had that much value. There is one for
me somewhere!"
