Here is the windshield – it’s awesome! Also note that the weather-strip has no splices, just the two mitered corners just like a regular FC has.
Here is the bonding agent for joining mitered corners of windshield weather-stripping. Just had to take a stock FC w/s seal, cut it down and remiter one corner to have a perfect w/s seal for the new PowerHoe w/s. This is what the rubber companies use to do the bond, get it through Jegs. Sets in 60 seconds and fully cures in 24 hours.....kick ass stuff....if you get it on your hands lacquer thinner or lighter fluid won't even soften it, it is permanent - yikes!
Note this special w/s wiper arm. It has two segments on one side and one on the other – the two segments allow it to follow the odd shape of the windshield, also a NOS era correct “dimple blade” for the wiper.
Here is the anatomy of making the windshield: the cardboard 3Dmold, the flat template (oversized to account for 2% shrinkage) to cut the Plexiglas to, and third the oven template to give it shape when baking in the oven.
