Here is the most famous Commuter picture. If you take a close look it appears that the picture has been retouched. Not sure if it was ever really photographed in this area. Check out the view through the windows of the truck.
UPDATE: Eric Bergman sent me this note as he reconized the area where this picture was taken. Many thanks Eric for the sharp eye. This goes right along with Brooke Stevens home near Milwaukee, WI.
"I was just looking about the FC Connection website and noticed the pictures of the commuter that you have tagged "Here is the most famous Commuter picture" Not sure if you were aware of this but that picture, if authentic, was taken near downtown Milwaukee, WI. I recognized the setting almost immediately and, in fact, I work only a block away from where this was taken. It would appear that the picture was taken after 1957 because in the hub caps there is a reflection of a building which is likely the Milwaukee County War Memorial Center."
