While Kevin was stripping everything else he thought it would be a good time to take care of the rear seat cushion frame.
All cleaned up, detailed and ready for the upholsterer.
Every one of the M677 door handles had some type of nick or dent. A guy locally who is a master at reworking stainless restored this one. He drilled a tiny hole in the back of the handle and got in there with a tool and worked all the little dents out, then re-welded and buffed the little hole – amazing you can’t even tell. This was the worst of the handles, it had scrapped something hard (like concrete block or something on a building) - looks better than new. It great to find folks like this – masters at what they do.
Now what do you think about this? These gauges were brought back to perfection to give the most professional look as possible. WOW!!!
Here's the front tire complete with the factory Cutlass hub. The stock brand tires have long gone by the wayside but these were the closest possible match to what it rolled off the assembly line with.
And of course matching rear treads...
