Here is a new rocker that was formed to replace the rusted original. These are pretty straight forward to make and sure are worth taking the time to do so.
They were spot welded exactly as the factory did them. This is the sill view.
The passenger side wheelwell needed a little work also. Here you see the rocker fitted into place.
In this picture everything is pretty much back in place. Now it’s time to reinstall the door and check for clearances.
You can’t ask for a better fit than that. You can see the rear door still needs some work. That will come next.
Kevin first tried to get everything stabilized and fit up and will then go back and finish out the metal work. The cab is pretty well along; he will finish the metalwork out and prime all areas. Once done he will move onto the metal work in the doors.
The front fender flare fit perfectly along the radius of the wheel opening.
