Last weekend while giving my latest acquisition a through cleaning and inspection I noticed an old bumper sticker covered up with black paint on the passenger side of the front bumper.  I grabbed some acetone and a rag and immediately went at it to see if I could uncover another clue on it's history.  I was able to uncover a sticker with Smoky the Bear on the left and the words "PREVENT FIRES".  I had seen this before.  While looking through some old Tour Jeep Photos that I have I came across this one taken back in 1973.  It's not the best shot, but a couple of things jumped right out at me.  There was that same bumper sticker and I also noticed that the bumper guards on this tour jeep were also flipped over.  Yes, I do believe that this is an actual picture of my tour jeep in action back in 1973.  It will indeed help in uncovering the rest of the history of this vehicle.
