Here’s John Lafian Jr. bringing the Power Hoe out of its long sleep to begin the journey of fulfilling his fathers dream of creating a mobile crane that the world had never seen.
That’s right, in 54 years less than 2700 miles on the ticker! And believe me it doesn’t look a mile over 2695 either. A time capsule extraordinaire!
How many drivers’ side floors from a ’57 FC-170 still look like this from the factory? I’m guessing I could count the number on one hand!

Here’s the passenger side wheel well. The stock flares are in impeccable shape.
What a crazy view this is! Notice all the stock appearance in the “Bubble Cab.”
Believe it or not those are the stock Goodyear All-Service NDT treads that the Power Hoe left the factory with!
The untouched undercarriage looks better than my restored trucks!
