Here's Dan's truck with a fresh coat of paint and ready to add all the details.
I believe that this was one of the first shows Dan attended with his new 677. It was at the Willys Reunion in Wisconsin.
More badging and details added. Really looking great!
Dan is one lucky guy. His family not only puts up with his FC addiction they also help out in his restorations. His wife Melanie recovered all the seats in his 677 herself with canvas and did an outstanding job!
Now think back to the pictures of the rusted out door post and battery box all covered in peeling white paint. What a remarkable difference!
One last interior shot. Very nice detailing job!
Here's a picture of the dash and instrumentation.
Here's Dan pulling a military trailer out at his place.
Dan caught up with this group from the National Guard that was in his area and was able to get a photo-op with them.
Here's daughter Katie helping dad out with the cleaning chores. Dan has all of his kids enlisted in his hobby.
When you have an awesome truck like Dan's, everyone wants to get in the scene! This picture was taken at the Charles City, Iowa annual “Military history days” event.
Here's Dan's setup at a Willys reunion. He's got his flat fender grille album holder and this cool M-Series bench to relax in while thumbing through all his pictures. Very cool!
OK, I knew you were asking "What's the deal with that bench?" Dan like many of us FC-O-holics wasn't finished after his M-677 restoration. Of course you have to have a comfortable place to sit and admire all your hard work. Well Dan made this one of a kind M-series bench to mock his 677’s truck bed. Fantastic job Dan!

Here's Dan's truck & trailer heading to the Joyce car show in 2008.
Here's a picture of Charlie Hutten from the TV show "Overhaulin'", Dan’s son Shaun, and Dan at a car show in Iowa. FC's have a way of attracting celebrities to them. It’s unavoidable. Here’s a quote from Dan.
"I met Charlie at a car show in Rockfalls, Iowa. I saw
him from across the road looking at all the "fancy" cars but he kept
looking my direction. He started heading my way several times but people
kept stopping him and getting autographs and talking. he finally made it
over and asked "what is this thing?" "It's the coolest thing I've ever
seen!" We talked for a long time and of course got his autograph and
pictures. really nice guy."
