 Alright all you guys & Gals out there that are looking for a FC that can be a daily driver on today's roads and still have the look of a Forward Control Jeep, here it is.  Joe did a complete repower of an old FC-170 and I think you'll agree that it turned out awesome.  He bought the truck from a friend and it had major body issues to deal with.  He had to completely rebuild the inside as a previous owner butchered it up pretty bad as well as deal with typical FC rust issues.  Joe believes the utility boxes were original Koenig units.  Joe made all the bumpers, steps, mirrors, drive train support and body parts that don’t look normal.  Here are some details of the components used in the build.

Engine- 383 Chevy stroker, 650 Holley spread bore, flowmaster exhaust, approx 400hp x 450 ft lbs.

· Modified factory frame

· Turbo 350 automatic

· NP 205 transfer case

· Corporate 14bolt narrow dually rear end 4:56

· Dana 60 front

· Modified factory leaf springs approx 8” lift

· Custom power brake unit works off factory master cylinder under dash

· Griffin 2 x 1-1/2” tube aluminum radiator mounted in modified factory vent over engine in cab with puller fan

· Interco Swampers Q78-16 on Alcoa classics powder coated chrome

· B&M engine oil cooler
