Russ sent me a few pictures of his recent FC purchase and was wondering if I had ever seen one like it before.  It's titled as a 1958 FC-170 and has a 292 Ford V8 in it.  Obviously the grille has been modified but it does indeed look like an early style cab.  Even though the cooling tunnel has been modified to accept the V8 motor, you can still see the vertical panels through the grille and it also has the early style metal fender flares with the rubber moldings missing.  Russ plans on taking out the V8 and installing maybe a Buick V6.  The truck is located in Dayton, Washington.
